Hana Koriech, a visiting archaeologist from the UK who is currently organizing a program to unite archaeology societies from New York schools for networking and community action, will attend our Holiday Party on Tuesday. Hana graduated from the Institute of Archaeology and is currently based in New York. Her experience includes working in Izmit’s Nicomedia Project and as part of Aktuel Archaeology journal’s team, volunteering in museums and institutes in the UK, and promoting participatory archaeology and its role in both community development and nation-building.

Hana will speak about her project, which we hope GLAM will be a part of in the future.
